Did you pay with paypal? If so ask for a refund and send it back to the seller. This isn't the thread to be complaining about a seller on RCtech though.

Hi!

starting to get this car working good now, but the problems is now that after maybe 3-5min it will loose power. temps are good, esc have 4led, motor is about 50-60c, battery is cold. (outside temp is also low,10-15c) is it the battery that is the problem? ( 5000mah 40c) it has been used for some time...

motor timing 0
Fdr 8.3
start 14000
end 30000
boost 28
turbo 15
ramp 2
delay .2

Most likely. Boosted 5.5 at the 4 minute mark is likely getting the pack to go soft.

How many mah's are yo burning up in 5 minutes?

Default Funny clicking.

I'm just putting my sedan back together for winter. I took the RS pro and updated it to the latest firmware. I have a Ballistic 10.5 in the sedan.

There is a strange cyclic clicking that occurs sometimes at neutral. I'm guessing it's about 4-6 clicks in .1 seconds on a cycle of about .6 seconds. So the motor is making the clicking, I can see and feel the pinion move back and forth.

I can get the clicking to go away by touching the throttle or rolling the car a little bit.

Any ideas what that is? Everything works fine otherwise.

Your NW is too low. Bump it by 5.

Hi!

about 1900mah in 5 min tested today, but it get`s soft in under 3 min.... 7.7v after 5 min.

do you se anyting in the setup that can help this issue? or is it just a battery problem?

Having an issue with my RS.

ESC drops power on the motor at random, down to about 50%. New sensor wire didn't fix it, nor did changing motors.

Is this a known issue? Is there a fix?

Hey, I was just wondering if I could wrap some electrical tape or something around the solder posts of my rs esc so they don't short?

Hi.

Can the RS or RS Pro handle 1 cell lipo batteries in 1/12th scale applications without the use of receiver packs?

Thanks.

No, the solder posts are also heat sinks and should be left bare.

Cranked NW to 100, still does it. About 5 clicks on a .76 second cycle. Video for clarification:

I'll try a different motor too.

We run boosted 17.5 TC onroad on a small-medium outdoor track (30m/100' straight). I currently have a Fantom Ion3 in the car and started with Hara's setup:

Boost: 50
Turbo: 14
Start: 5,400rpm
End: 20,000rpm
Delay: .14
Ramp: 2.0

I started with an FDR of around 6.2.

Overall, it feels like not enough bottom end, but seems to be accelerating hard still towards the end of the straight. Looks like a setup for a bigger track. Temps after 5mins are in the 60degC range.

I'm hoping someone has some suggestions for boosting the bottom end. I don't really think I want to gear much shorter than that, so thinking of lowering the rpm range (start & end) but dropping the boost a little to keep temps in check. Has anyone found a good combination for this?
