Default Cannot Calibrate

Hello Randy,

I hope you (or anyone else for that matter) can help me. I just got my 12th scale car all wired up with the RS and 17.5 combo, and am having trouble calibrating the esc. When I power up, all I get are all 7 led's lit up solid. Using the mode button (for 3 seconds) does nothing. I've tried to reset the whole system back to factory specs just for kicks, but I don't think its responding. I'm getting no audible chime either. I'm running a KO Helios w/ Spektrum. Also have the Hotwire interface as well.

Please help as i'm planning a trip to the new facility in Chico this Saturday.

Regards,
Steve

Did you upgrade to v1.80 firmware? If so, try downgrading to v1.78, then upgrade back to v1.80. Worked for a few of us...

IF all the led's are flashing that means we see know radio signal.

Make sure that your receiver is working. Do you have steering? Make sure the esc is plugged in the right way.

Nick: Make sure to run a double cap setup on a huge track such as that one. I'm sure you're on throttle and hard on brakes there...

Two caps help keep esc temps down.

Randy,
I do have steering, so I assume it's plugged in correctly. All 7 lights are solid, not flashing.

No he's running a Helios KO. I've got a shop with the car and I'm working to sort it out over the phone.

We'll get it handled.

did you get this problem solved, i had the exact same problem and i found that the sensor wire was bad right out of the box. There was no continuity at one of the terminals, replaced the wire and it worked great

Testing appears to be going good over the weekend for the new software. Should see a public version very soon.
