I was using very close to your 17.5
set up this weekend

But I was running a lower fdr with good snap
try reducing your end piont 12000
and use a little more turbo

Also some great results for tekin downunder
in the first round of our challange cup

Wirh tekin taken out at least the first
3 places in 21.5 , all 10 places in 17.5 and
second in 10.5

just drove my rc12r5 with RSpro and sensored 2.5 in dual mode and on 2s lipo at the local "nitro" on-road track. OMG NERDGASM. was geared 96-16 with some worn out wheels that were about 40mm diameter. the 200ft straight was like a squirt. just one yank and let off. had my eagletree in it. rpm sensor didnt work but i got 93 amps peak. using a 7.4v 20c 3100 maxamps pack i tickled 6v a few times. lowest was 5.88v. this was in the top half of the battery. according to the eagle tree i only took 1300mah out in the 6min run. will dbl check tomorow by draining the battery. but my driving is awful so i wasnt pushing the car. i saw the speedo blink 5 lights of temp. lost my radar gun or i would tell you what top speed i got.

if my driving was better i could have given the O.S. team driver from japan a run for his money that was practicing for the 200mm worlds coming in july.

hello
need som help with my tekin rs
it ran great al winter indoor season.
my first outdoor on a big outdoor track was the first 2 quaifiers good
with plenty of brakes.
dith a bit of fine tuning with the boost and turbo.
and my next run i had almost no brakes anymore
went back to my old setings stil no brakes.
now a weekend later tryed almost evryting .
also compleet update and reprograming speedo and transmitter.
now i also have that my power is gone after 2 laps
can somone give some tips
ps already placed a new motor .also a sp 3.0 13,5t

Default Trinity Nemesis 17.5 & RS Pro

Just thought id post my findings with the Nemesis 17.5 in TC.


After spending about 2 days trying to figure out, It getting hot after only a couple of minutes (luckly i checked it at every minute or the motor would be toasted).

It also would jerk on and off at full throtle very Violent after only 1 or 2 mins.
which was very bad and concerning to me

With these settings it was faullting

Motor- 0 to 10 didnt matter always faulted
Boost- 50
turbo - 8 or 10 didnt matter
delay- didnt matter what i set it to
FDR - 6.5 to 7.2 didnt matter still faulted.
Start - 5XXX
End - 15000
Throtle- 3
Ramp- 2.0
Drag - 0


I was shocked that it got hot so quik and started to jerk and fail on /off at full throtle.

I tryed every posible thing and setting and new cables, batterys radio , virtually every thing, to no avail.

Tried Tekin motor on same everything and it went perfect.

Since Trinitys warranty is virtually non existing and i only had the motor 2 days and it did this fault from the first time out I was persistent not to give up on solving it.


I put the motor to -5 deg and all problems went away (Fixed!!! ), well i havnt raced it yet, but i put a full pack through the car, and it went fast and never got above 54C temp and it also sounded fast as well as going fast


I have come to my own conclusion that the markings on the Nemesis Can are very very wrong, worse than any other motor i have used.

I am geussing that -5 on motor is most likely +10 or more???

I hope others can maybe use this info to not cook motor straigh away or just use it as a door stop.

Many people in this forum seem to have totally hated this motor, maybe this is the problem????

Did you calibrate the throttle and brake at 90% and then move it up to 110%?
