Default 12th scale 17.5

Can someone post a starting setup for the RS for 12th scale 17.5 1s lipo? Will be running on new Carpet 90 x 45.

check tekin's website, there are some good starting points there. also there is a 1s tekin thread with a lot of good info

ok need alittle help. i just installed a duo2 17.5 motor and tomarrow im going to be running it.

the track size is 170x70 i beleve.

esc settings are

throttle 5
timing 45
turbo max
turbo ramp 3.0
delay .1
start rpm 1275 (i think)
end rpm 8500

so i was woundering if this sounds ok on a cyclone s with 18t pullies and 96/40 gears.

i just got this motor so my settings are for my old motor

I have just purchased a new Tekin RS which I intend on connecting a Speedpassion Ultra sportsman 17.5.

Question if I upgrade to the latest 203 software what is a safe place to start, the car I use is a Corally Phi 09.

The Track is approx 110x45 .

timing boost 45

Anyone getting any real speed out of the Nemesis 13.5 / 17.5's without cooking them. I'm running V203, I've tried everything but, the Nemesis for me is slow and gets real hot. Any help would be appreciated.

Try less timing. If that cools it off but it still isn't fast, go up on the pinion.

I still prefer the duos and Tekins myself.

they are amazing. Ice cold on min after 5 min and it runs so insane that it just is a rocket down the straight

Theres a nemesis thread somewhere. They say that the nemesis does NOT like high timing (including esc timing). It also says they do not like heat, not sure if that means they die permanently when they get hot or just go soft real quick for the rest of the run.

Ok so they are very close to each other.
The Duo wins on the straight and the Tekin in the infield.
I'm going to order a Tekin 13,5T. We have a technical track. My 10,5T went good but I heard good things about the DUO motors so that's why I asked.
