as said before, brake epa has been calibrated at 100, then 80 and bumped up to 100, and then bumped up to 150.

temps are not the cause in my problem as it will be weak from start to finish. When I mean weak, I mean they are not 'fantastic'. I can get around, just have to break a little earlier than others using lrp's.

im guessing you've already tried a different brake strength setting on the hotwire, yes? Or has it always been at max?

I just bought a RS. I run two classes 17.5 and rcgt, but not at the same race day. Our 17.5 is not limited to software unlike our rcgt. Am I able to download the software(s) and switch back and forth?

If you have a Hotwire you can change it in about 2 minutes.

I know that to much motor timing is bad so I went the opposite way. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
As you turn them all the way right, watch were the line of the 0 is on the end plate. You can mark it but it will be some were with the little marking on the end plate. It will not be in the center but on 1 side. Use that as marking.
Standard they are 12 timing. So watch were the marking is on the 12 and you now were to look ad if you didn't turn the end plate.

As you set the timing between the 0 and the 10 you are always ok.
Start low with the timing or gear lighter in the beginning.
