Anyone have any ideas that of what causes this issue?

Thanks
Only thing I see, I never turn on the ESC switch. I hid the switch and put tape over it to ensure that it remained off. The switch essentially turns on or off the low voltage cut-off in the ESC for the latest firmware releases. If you have your LV cut-off too high, the RS may be reading this and going into fail-safe. It may be cutting out even though you have a Rx pack.

Thank you Yang for a great starting point on 13.5 1S for 12th scale.
I pulled your settings from the Tekin website to start.
Ended with settings of
50 boost
no turbo
27xx start
12000 end
profile 3
84mm roll with Redline
80mm roll with Nemises
Track is fast paced infield medium run to 100'+ straight
Cool winter temp asphalt
Camarillo Park, Ca

Plenty of punch, could not use more
Still pulling revs as entering decreasing radius sweeper at end of straight.
Near .4 drop during last min.

What kind of changes could be made to this setup for a carpet track with a 80' straight?

How is Tekin doing on the snowbirds?
How are they going against the mamba's, Advanced and SXX speedo's?

Really it's already so good I don't know what more I could want for.
Perhaps you could train it to make me a sandwich in the middle of the day

Default V 203 motor cogging

I just put v203 in my VTA car and it is cogging or studering from a start. It did not do this with V200. Any ideas what is wrong?

I will have to ck my settings for more info.

Hey guys, speaking of sandwich?? Did you notice StewartFan20 right in the middle of your posts? Even asked a question that went right with Yang's offer to make changes to match the track. Spreading the PB&J a little thick on the edges and forgot all about the middle?

Had this problem on a buddy's 1/12th. Seems like the firmware didn't load completely clean.

Roll back to v200, test that everything is back as it was, then update to v203 again, and if it's the same problem we ran into, you'll be good.

Post your settings and someone will help. Sounds like way too much timing too soon.

Default rs settings with cogging

motor 21.5 novak timming 0
boost 24
turbo delay 0.0, probably the problem set to 1.0
ramp 1.0

I have had a chance to play with the new version and settings yet so I am still figuring it out.

Hi Guys

Need a quick help, is at the track right now, running with a rs pro and 17.5 redline motor, is very impressed with the power, but i am running a little hot a the end of a 5 min run, running 1/10 touring.

My settings are.

Boost 50
Turbo 10
Delay .2
Ramp 3
Start 2550
End 8000

The speed and punch is good, but what could i change to run it a little cooler?

Thanks

Try moving your rpm end point higher maybe 10,000 or 11,500 this should help smooth out the power and should drop the temps.

Longer turbo delay with ramp 1 or 2. Less total timing, higher rpm points.

reinstalling the new version seemed to help. Also I recalibrated the esc again.
