No. mdf = uF = microFarad. Farad is the unit of caps capacity.
I have no idea what you mean by standard cap.
I have got a Spektrum cap and it is either 2200 or 2500 uF (I do not remember, but it is not that important, either of them will be okay). 330 uF is not enough capacity.

Sorry, not. I thought you need a power cap on your receiver. Sorry for the confusion.

See the tekin site:
http://www.teamtekin.com/accessories.html
If you have RS, you will need 16V and 1000 uF

according the the tekin site it says that the rs uses part# tt3520 which according to the specs the its 16v and 330uf which is what i picked up but the one i got is a tick smaller that the standard one that come with it. so i guess i kind of ansawerd my own question but what are the the other numbers one the stock cap. and will smaller size cause any issues with the speedo.
thanks

Our cap is not just a standard capacitor. Yes it's a 16v 330uf cap. It however has some special qualities.

What you need and what Randy is trying to say is that they use a low impedance fast capacitor capable of rapid charging/discharging rates and with very little internal resistance and leaking currents. You can chase these down around on the web but you need to know where to find them. Farnell are one name, RS components are another. In the end I am not sure you're going to save any money though.

You cap might work but it is not guaranteed. Most likely it will be too slow.

Not problem at all, you can run with your cap, probably heat a litle more than normal, is you go to your local electronic shop, buy a low ESR (Equivalent Serie Resistance) cap, is you not have time to order the tekin unit, the tekin cap is very good quality component.
Or you can put 2 in parallels, for dismiss the impedance.
I use a 2200uf 16v, japanes cap, with very low esr, for mod racing in hot conditions, with good results.

Greetings, Luis C.

Don't change anything. Treat it like a mod motor and run a little negetive throthle expo. Say -10-15% and see if that clams it down some.

Using the KO radio you have to set things a little differently for some reason inorder to for it to reconized full throtle. I set my radio up at 90 then bump it up to 135. This is the only way I get full punch everytime. It sounds weird but it works. When running a friends M11 I don't have to do this but with my KO I have to.

Not bad at all. I damaged the car during the first lap or two in the 2nd round and the car wasn't the same then I finally just pulled it a few laps later. The main was a different story. I got taken out by Dujuan I made his car too fast with the settings I put in his speedo for the main.
