Several people at my track are running their 13.5 motors with the following Tekin RS settings:

Timing Boost - 50
Turbo - 10
Delay - 0.8
Turbo Ramp - 3
Start RPM - 5000
End RPM - 15000

OK guys need help again!!

I am running a speed passion 13.5 ver.3 geared just over 5.0

I had been running Timing on about 45 and turbo 10 but I kept over cooking the corner at the end of the straight!! So I decided to try it with the turbo off this was much better as I didnt push wide

In the last run I set the Timing to max with the following RPM ranges

End RPM - 10,001
Start RPM - 2,721

Gearing now at 4.9ish this was plenty fast enough with lots of mid pull and top end

Straight at a guess was about 30m ish?

Did I have the timing silly high or is this fairly common also do the RPM ranges seem OK

Comments welcome please

Well as I mentioned it's Speed Passion v3 13.5T motor. Track will be European Touring Series in Czech Republic - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HggWopSBkJU.

It's possible that your turbo was kicking in just as you were about to let off for the corner. You could try a lower delay (if yours was .5 or above).

Wasn't your motor too hot? I had wider RPM range and my motor was getting to 200F, I also had FDR about 5.5 and higher.

What would happen if I was to widen or shorten the RPM range?

From my understanding ... Bigger RPM spreads should be better for motor heat .... Reason being, max boost is less likely to be applied in the tight sections where it isn't needed. Same for bumping up the lower RPM, that should also help with motor heat.

Can anyone give any knowledge with regard to changing the start/end rpm's in the 203 software and how the changes have effected to car.

This is for TC.

Default boost/Turbo ramp

This one is for the Tekin team.
What would you say the ramp was for boost and turbo before v203? (I mean is it equivalent to 1, 2 or 3 in v203?). I need to decide what ramp to start with.

Thanks

Use this setup. It's without the Turbo but it goes fast.
