What are the chances the Kinetic will "become available" at the same time?

Does anyone have a baseline setup for a WGT running a 13.5 Duo or Nemesis? Couldn't find one with the search function.

Also how about a baseline for a 12th running a 10.5 Duo? I did see some for other motors but want to see what else is out there.

Exactly! If v203 is banned it would make a grand coming out party for the Kinetic. Or, maybe they're just not ready yet and don't want to get smoked by Tekin?

This is what I will start with in my 1:10 pan car with a 13,5T Orion motor and 2S:

Drag Brake 0
Reverse Strength off
Brake Strength 75
Neutral Width 5
Motor Type BL-FW
Throttle Profile 3
Voltage Cut Off 2
Push Control off
Timing Boost 45
Min RPM 3500
Max RPM 12500
Turbo Boost 10
Turbo Delay 0,8
Turbo Ramp 1
Roll out: 54 mm

I will first set the infield performance of the car by playing with Timing Boost, start and end RPM and gearing. Then I will decrease the turbo delay. This is on a 40 x 20 m fast and flowing track with medium/high grip.
I am sure this is NOT the right setup but good point to start.

With 1:12 10,5T SpeedPassion 1S:

Roll out 64,5
Drag Brake 0
Reverse Strength off
Brake Strength 100
Neutral Width 5
Motor Type BL-FW
Throttle Profile 4
Voltage Cut Off 0
Push Control off
Timing Boost 40
Min RPM 3000
Max RPM 8000
Turbo Boost 10
Turbo Delay 0,8
Turbo Ramp 1
On the same track, and setup will be done on the same concept.

Once again: these are not proven setups, these will be my start points.

the new software is great but its too fast. i think that 17.5 stock is just gotten to be too fast and needs to be slowed down and thats why its banned at the novak. when a 17.5 can run with a 13.5 down the straight that is just insane. and to be honest about it i ran 203 and the new years day race at trackside and if you didnt have a tekin with the software you where left standing still in the straight and in the infield you could get out of a conner faster that anyone eles if your car was set up to be able to handle the extra power that the software was giving you. but again its just too fast.

Check out oze's 10.5 1/12 1S setup a few posts ago - seems like that would be a conservative starting point for WGT using either of the Epic motors.

Thanks I will give it a try. I will need to adjust the 1:10th setup for 1S which should be matter of setting the Max RPM to an appropriate level. Looks like I will have to drop the rollout down as well for both as the track I am going to is roughly 30 m in length.

No, you have to increase the roll out both if you want to run with 13,5T with 1S instead of 2S or if you run 13,5T instead of 10,5T.

I wonder if Tekin ever thought people would be saying this with the v203 software release... I bet their first reaction to this kind of statements was like, right, sure, whatever, and then now that more people are saying it's too fast, they are probably a little puzzled.

the reason i say too fast is because if you look at laps you take a class like 17.5 and brought them up to 13.5 times there needs to be a gap bettween the two.
