k when I first got my 3pks I didn't have to reverse the throttle that was in profile 1 but wh,en I change to another profile i have to reverse. wierd but I have noticed no difference in performance.

I know this is the onroad thread, but just wanted to relay what happened today with my rs in my b4 with a 17.5. I slid out in an off camber corner and was rolling backwards down the slope...apparently fast enough that the rs was in sensorless mode (running hybrid mode). Tried to get on the throttle, but it cogged badly and I had to wait till it rolled all the way down, slowed, and went back to sensored before getting on the throttle. Maybe something can be added in the next update that if the motor is spinning backwards the esc automatically uses sensored when in hybrid mode.

It shouldn't be doing that, I suspect your sensor cable wasn't plugged in properly? It's easy to check, with the speedo in neutral, turn the motor manually and watch the last 3 led alternatively get dimly lit as the motor turns...

I am getting a 'internet connection not found' message when clicking 'update' on the Hotwire software? My internet works fine, not sure why I am still getting this despite uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times.
No one has this problem but me huh...

Hey Stocker,

I spoke to our engineer about this. The version of Hotwire software you have goes about checking for internet differently then the update that's coming out.

Currently the hotwire will look for you network card, internet, then ping our site. The update now just pings the site to verify internet.

Make sure that once you plug in the Hotwire(no speedo) go ahead and click on "check for updates."

Make sure you're running the latest software. The current one can find conflicts in certain network settings and come to the conclusion that there's no interent.

I'll post something when the new Hotwire software is out.

Is that "Update" option to update the Hotwire software or update the settings in the ESC?
