I think that's the concept. The lower the end RPM value, the faster the boost is applied. LMK if I'm wrong. I'll be playing with different values tomorrow to see what happens.

Of course, my Speed Passion stuff should be here sometime in the next week or so, and this setup will be null and void for me.

I think the trickiest part for me will be finding which types of motors like which power band.
SP,esc and motor or just motor

10.5 had great rip,try the 10500 and around 3k start.i threw a 16000 at my 17.5 and it flatend out to early but a little more gear would have been ok,i think most setups will be very close with little changes to timing boost

Default 1/12 set up

I have tested at my track...70 x 30...it was clocked at 29 mph on the straight which may be 65 ft..which is pretty fast could be faster..it came off the track at 102 degrees..i think i need a little more straight a way speed and a little more pop in the infield my set up is as follows..

.2 turbo delay
end rpm 7000
start rpm 2437
turbo ramp 3.0
turbo boost 10
timing boost 41
throttle profile 3...

76 spur with 42 pinion..tires 42mm...the turbo kicks in a little late..can anyone give me any suggestions...13.5 orion vortex is the motor

The ideal start/end rpm for boost will depend on the platform/chassis being used along with track size and motor wind. The size of the range will also affect how the car pulls. A narrow rpm range will effectively produce a faster rate of boost vs. a wide range will have a slower rate of boost:

1000rpm start / 6000 end with 50 timing boost will provide 10 degrees of boost per 1000 rpm vs.
1000rpm start / 11000 end with 50 timing boost will provide 5 degrees of boost per 1000 rpm.

Make sense?

Obi,

Please post your setup again, and what are you looking to gain?

Ok,

First off where is your motor timing set? If it's at 0, get rid of turbo for now and add 10 to the motor.

There is more than enough timing at hand without turbo.

motor timing is at 0 ..so add motor timing and get rid of turbo.. do i need to increase timing boost or leave it at 41..will this give me more speed or more infield punch..how do i get more infield punch if this is solving my speed problem..also..is the start rpm 2437 and end rpm 7000 good..how would this effect things..should i change it
