Thanks.
Here is my setup in my B4/17.5 with v200:
10 degrees on the motor
10 to 15 on timing boost
full (20) turbo with .7 delay for low traction and .5 for high traction
33 pinion, 72 spur

Today I found out the power of the Tekin.
It's fantastic.
My old TOP Scythe was running good but after I drove a Photon from some one els I notes how heavy my car runs.
Even with my old crappy car I was running lap times that were fast.
I was 0,1sec a lap faster as he was with the Photon and the SPX and a Speedpassion 10,5T.
I drove Tekin combo.
Incredible infield speed.

This was my setup
I drove 5 cell.

Motor timing 8
Boost 20
Turbo Max
Throttle 5
Brake 70%
Drag brake 0
6.0FDR

I hath full power till the finish and the motor stayed cool.

What will the Tekin RS Pro do in a Photon

yeah i am beginning to think so too . I made a 40mm fan above my motor so i think the motor will not get above 80 degrees Celcius anymore

I am changing my rollout, will start at 36mm which is very low for a 10.5t and probably too low(normal rollout for 5.5t-6.5t roughly) but will go up from there and watch motor temps. I will not use the fan then so i can see what the motor does. See next friday how it is going.

Set your motor timing om 4
Boost on 25
Turbo on Max
The motor stays cooler and you have a lot of infield power and still good top speed.
I hath by the start an incredible power.
The SPX driver was pushing to sty a head of me.
I was the first meters faster than all the other drivers.

I calibrated my Helios with 100 on the throttle. Should I adjust the EPA to about 110 now so the turbo does not shut off a few laps into the race?

No when the Turbo keeps going till the last lap of your race you don't have to do it.
If you want to be shore you can do it. But I don't do it and the Tekin is running great till the last lap.

What are most people setting their turbo delay to? I am asking for 17.5 sedan foam carpet on a track about 80 x 40.

Losi123,

There should be NO cogging with an RS. Have you used the sensor checker feature to verify your getting good sensor input to the speedo?

The RS will not cog in either dual mode or sensored only mode if it's working properly and the sensor harness, etc are in good order.

Something is clearly off with your setup.

Default Revision of "Using Tekin RS with HotWire" to firmware 200

I've revised my RS/HotWire document to reflect the changes in firmware version 200.

Other changes:

* Improved explanation of motor timing

* More troubleshooting tips

* Lots of miscellaneous fixes based on feedback.

If you've read the previous version, use the compare function in Word to highlight the changes in this one.

If you donít have Word on your PC you can still read the document by downloading the free reader:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Please provide feedback via PM rather than cluttering up the thread. Cheers,
