The file is sent out in a ".txt" format to get around mail server security.

Simply rename the file and change the last 3 characters from txt to zip.

To be honest, you would be better off with v200.

It is not good for 199 to be handed around, Randy has explained why a few pages back.

Not trying to be unhelpful, but simply explaining it was partly a beta release for use by team drivers, until v200 came out.

You are not missing out on anything, everything we have is in v200

I'm going to add 5 more degrees to the motor and back off the pinion one more tooth just to see what that does for me. I hoping for a little more bottom end without sacrificing top speed. My temps were in the high 130s.

Can someone post a setup for 21.5 (VTA)? Or can I just assume that 21.5 setups are very similar to 17.5's with the exception of gearing?

Sorry I can remember exactly what I'm using or I would post it and I've only run it for a few minutes. My gearing is around a 5.3 FDR, motor timing 0*, and I know I lowered the boost and upped the turbo to max (or near max). Seems ok and is definitely fast but a couple things I would like better. It is still accelerating at the end of the straight (carpet 90-95 ft.) and I really can't feel or hear it really go till half way down the straight. Is that a sign to gear down (higher ratio)? Also does everyone use the .5 sec delay or can I play with say .3?

Any suggestions on what works well with a 21.5 using V200?

Thanks

Yes a 17.5 setup is a great place to start on 21.5. It should get you in the ballpark.

I hope everyone has a great weekend of racing!

I've posted a lot of current team setups on Facebook. Search for "Tekin Racing"
