Guys, posted this query before but guess it didn't make sense without the motor or track size... I am moving from an SPX to the RS in 10.5 turn and I am planning to go with the following settings;

Drag - 20
Reverse - 100
Brake - 100
Neutral - 5
Motor - BL-FW
Throttle - 5
Volt Cut - 2
Push - Off
Timing - 0 (and default timing on my LRP motor)
Current - Off
Sensored - Yes
Boost - 20
Turbo - Max delay - 0.5

With my SPX set on profile 8 (max punch) I am running 5.3 FDR - should I keep this the same with the settings above as I have the Throttle Profile at 5 and the Boost and Turbo on?

The track can be seen here

Nice track.
Motor timing of the LRP 10,5T is 12.
Try 5,7FDR
Check motor temp.
as the Turbo comes in to late or when you have still a lot of power on the straight, lower your boost to 15 or even lower.
Good luck.

Scoyle,

Try to keep your neutral above 9. the esc will be very ttouchy at 5. I keep mine at 15, just to be safe. Good Luck--Al

according to people who have used both, there is a difference.

There is a difference but not in power.
The Turbo comes in much smoother. This is a big plus.
Also the motor temps stay lower. I used the same setup as with the V199 and the motor temp was lower. lap times the same but the car runs much smoother so my lap times are more constant.
I prefer the V200 above the V199. I like it when it accelerates in one smooth line to it's top speed.

Default thanks

Randy-Thanks for the help today. The v.200 is loaded up. All I had to do was recalibrate the Tx. Are their any setup sheets yet for a baseline? I ran the 180 version out of the box with a few tweaks. Are the 198 setups close to the 200 to start?
If anybody else has some ideas, fire away! I'm running a 17.5 TC5, the track should be a mix of wide open and technical sections with the straight roughly 125' long. tia, Nick A.
