Luck of the Draw. My RSPRO came with Blk & Silver. If you got FX/FXPro,R1/R1PRO, you got a choice of Blue, Gold, yellow, and White. I have one that is red, dont know where i got that.

Luck of the draw I guess!!!

What is the reason for not having stock of RS pro?
Are changing something? Is there any problem with the esc?

That is normal for new products to have demand be higher then production capacity. Most new products I've seen over the 20+ years I've been involved in RC have waits for the first few months after release.

Look at the Wii Fit that just came out. Last I heard they don't expect production capacity to be able to meet demand for 2 full years!

Higbo- You said the following.
What is the reason for not having stock of RS pro?
Because demand IS higher than expected and they were filling backorders as old as 6-10 months old.
Plus the R1 is VERY popular across seas and alot of those people are now wanting to try the RS Pro. I know their international sales are WAYYY up.

Are changing something? Is there any problem with the esc?
No problems. No changes to speak of. Just simply a higher demand than originally planned. Which is GREAT NEWS.... The success, performance and quality of this esc is really starting to shine.

You then said:I do not think it is that unless production capacity is minimal Well I appologize but your dead WRONG!!!!! Tekin had a # of esc's they had in mind that would be sold and they had that many produced. The demand was MUCH higher than even they expected. The word simply got out faster than expected.
This happens alot in this industry HIGBO. You dont wanna rush anything due to quality and integrity. When you have a high demanded item then sometimes back order's happen.
It has happened with PT's,Batteries,Motor's,and even Lipo's. Hell even FTT4's were backordered forever.
It happens.

It's a great product and as soon as Tekin and the gang get them in they are filling backorders as fast as possible.

I really need my RS Pro by July 18th for Next Points series Race. I bolo'd my last race when my uber fast LRP burned up and I borrowed a Novak and my pace ended up being 0.15 seconds slower each lap. In oval racing, that is HUGE!.

Higbo- I wasn't saying anything harsh. Look at the 2 questions you ask. Look at their sequence. Lots of doubt.
I was simply answering YOUR questions. If you dont like my answers than all I can say is my appologizes for being honest. I know in this PC society we live in nowadays everyone wants to look over their shoulder.... Sorry Im not one of those people. I tell it as it is. Just like I want people to answer me. No B.S. , just answers.

It's a great product that simply had a HIGHER demand than even what Tekin Expected. Japan,Europe and other area's are simply jumping all over Tekin Products. They have tried the competition and have found Tekin to their liking better than anything else out there. I personally cant blame them.

Mikky32- The R1 is a NON sensored unit. The RS is a Sensored unit. It works great in 4,5, and 6 cell applications. TONS of guys across the sea are using the RS in 5 cell applications and absolutely loving it.

Goodluck racing guys.

I'm running 13.5 in a local BRL points series. The track is allowing any speedo, but the motors are locked down to Novak.

Because bigger is better, and I rather not chance losing any speed because I went cheap. I understand that the RS had the same number of FETS the LRP had and about the same load capibilites.

Then RS will do you fine. I'm not just saying that because i have one to sell. Phil Marabella, Jeff Cuffs, and Walt and George from ORC are running them. I would be too if I wasn't going to run open mod (3.5)

Unless you are running open mod the RS will do just fine.
