I have version 199 software...

I had the same issue last month...basically the ESC is acting like it there is no sensor wire plugged in. It could be a bad sensor wire or just dirt in one of the sensors. I took my motor apart and sprayed it out really good and it has been working fine ever since.

Temping the esc is not the best way to determine if you are pushing it. If you leave the throttle at neutral and watch the leds you should notice it blipping from the lone center led to a line of leds starting at the left. Count how many leds light up and that tells you how hot the esc is internally. Unless you start seeing any more than 6 leds regularly you have nothing to worry about.

Either way.. in the future, when you change your mind and eventually run it, you will see the RS' 1s checkbox is a nice feature to have on the speedo.

OK thank krio... I didnt know that!!!! I never saw more than 1 to 3 lights on when in neutral...

But when I NAIL the throttle to wide open throttle all the lights on the ESC show up then 2 seconds later the motor spools up

CPTamerica - I have never taken the motor apart, it was brand new up until Tuesday... before I left last night I reset the ESC to default settings and it helped some... What do i clean the inside of the moroe out with?

Hey hound, the temp light will flash while its in nuetral. I stood in my driveway last Friday evening and watched it flash in my T4, and thats with the body on. I had a 13.5 installed and the motor temp was about 180 couple. The temp on the speedo was only flashing one light. Hope this helps.

Relax guys. I want you to have the best software that we can offer. We're all racers here and we want Tekin to be the best.

I will post up when 200 is released.

Senna, yes. They were running the LRP in the middle timing position. They ran the same setup that was being used by another running our 17.5. Both cars were fast...they were in seperate heats though.

compressed air! I also clean in and all around the inside underneither the ends, like around the bearings. And also put a tiny drop of light bearing oil into the bearing race... and then wipe the outside of the bearing off with a towel... then reassemble.
