I've been running 13.5 from 60% to 85%. I've been having good luck with more timing and less gearing in the tighter tracks we have in New England.

For most of us the pro isn't really a bump up. The pro is definately the way to go if you're running mod but for anyone running a spec motor (17.5/13.5/10.5) the RS is more than enough even in hot weather.

The difference in cost between the regular RS and the pro will put enough money back in your pocket to get a set of premounts, or a new rotor. It just about pays for a new motor and cuts a big chunk out of the cost of a LiPo pack. Hopefully the motors will be available soon maybe I can run all Tekin stuff in 12th this year.

I've been super happy with my RS running it in sedan. I can't wait to get back racing 12th indoors because this thing is so light. Might not have a car that's 2 ounces over weight this year.

Plan on running a 5.5 or a 4.5 later in the summer, i was going to run the RS in my 13.5 car.

I'm still waiting on my RSPro....

I have had the chance to play with someones elses RS with Hotwire.

Things that need to be addressed in Hotwire software.

Timing? 0~100 is that precentage, degrees or miliseconds? Ditch the precentage and go to degrees or miliseconds.

Neutral Width. Again, Ditch the 0~100% and go with degrees or miliseconds.

Push Control? Documentation on what this feature does would be great.

Throttle/break profiles, If you ever owned a Castle Product you would would expect more from the "Pro" Brands

Then add the same adjustiblity from throttle/break profiles to the Hybird timing. Users would be very happy to have be able to adjust the timing curve for the hybird function.

I'm not trying to downplay Tekin. I just want the RS series to be the Best and the software is holding back.

With mod its really good. only thing is you'll need to bump up brakes to to around 8-9. Since you might be getting one tomorrow, its already set up, so just play with brakes and drake brakes if you need more or less
