I also haven't had problems with my 2 rs pro's, I have upgraded through 4 versions now (1.80, 1.83, 1.94, 1.98) and haven't had any difficulties.

I uninstalled it again. Reboot the computer. Installed it on my computer again. And got the exact same thing. Did it twice now and i get the same results. A green box with that message in it. Strange to say the least. I have the older 1.98 version still on my laptop. Will see tommorow if that still works alright.

I believe you have to un-install all the versions, then install the version you want. I have been through several versions, with Vista no less, and haven't had any issues.

Well I know first hand that a friend of mine is running the Tekin with some new software that Tekin has given to one of ther team drivers and the new software is very very very close to being right!! They were working on getting the turbo to kick in alittle earlier. The straight away speed is identical to one of the fast fast guys running for TOP in 13.5!! I am very impressed and think by the end of the Reedy this weekend I think the new software should be right were it needs to be for a big track like SWR!!

Im having the same problem with this new error. I uninstalled the old, installed the new, and the second the program connected to my ESC, I got the incompatibility error message. So I reset the ESC back to factory defaults, then reset my custom settings. The second I update my ESC with the new settings, I get the same error message again. Then i click on "current settings"... and it shows that the settings have been reset back to the defaults....

If I unplug my esc from USB, then replug it in and relaunch my tekin hotwier... most of my settings have stayed, but "timing boost" now reads "GO". I can adjust my timing boost up and up and up and apply the settings each time. if i go to high (the max is now 45 by the way)... it will error out the program. Now that it errors out, I can't set the timing boost ANYwhere.... even down to 5 or 6 without the error.

I installed it on another machine, which has never seen tekin software, and the problem is there as well.

Tekin guys... I need a fix or something asap... got a race this weekend. Whats the delio?

Anyone happen to know what the stock timing is set at on the Tekin 13.5 motor? I never ran 13.5 brushless yet so trying to get some final info before I hit the track tommorrow.

I don't know the stock timing but, if you're running a RS at the "C" try a 4.2 or lower fdr (especially with the current layout). Check motor temps after a 6 minute run. Gear from there.

Stock timing is 12 out of the box.

Your boost will not go to 45 even if it's showing it.

For those having install issues I'd like to know what OS you're using?

If you are running Vista you MUST delete the hidden file in the "virtual store" folder. I made a video to show you how to get to it:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTp3tUL9u8Y

We have the speed we're looking for. There is always room for improvement. We have some of our biggest sceptics running the RS against the SPX's and they too are liking it.

EJ is a super fast driver and is one to watch. But it's he's not running anything special. His car is super dialed and he's running faster than some mod guys. His car has mad corner speed and just looks to be in a different level. He does have competition and racing is racing.
