Cheers
Haha, the powerbands are a little inside joke, there isn't anything like that.

I'll change the timing based on traction and feel.
So this means with the boost set at 12 and the physical timing on the motor set to 12 we get to 24 degrees of timing?

I want to know where to set my timing on the endbell.

I cant wait to add the RX8 to my two RS pros. Great stuff guys keep it up.

12 in the boost. than in the speedo it self there is like 15 extra hidden and than you can ply with your motor for the best result till 24 on the motor

That is a good question!! Same question I had in mind. Can we use the NOVAK CAPs? I am assuming we can, but I think an official word from Tekin can solidify assumptions.

If the cap is mounted very close to the battery posts with short leads and well secured it works decent. Mounted with a few inches of wire we do not think it is very effective. Our cap is not a standard electrolytic capacitor and has a better ripple current rating at 1/10 the size. The large caps tend to be overkill on capacity, a little low on voltage and pretty slow for what we like. The lower the motor turns the more important it is. Spec motors are not much of a concern.

Poor quality batteries can stress the caps and cause failures. They struggle to control the voltage swings of a poor quality battery. This will be more important in 1/8 scale where voltage is already high and loads are heavy.

Woah, and here I thought it functioned like those "boost bottles" the Nitro folk use on their cars, but barely does anything.
