Your current hotwire unit will work with the Gen 2 RS. The Gen 2 does come with an adapter for the ESC port connection to the hotwire.

Yes your GEN1 RS will still work after you've upgraded to the new Hotwire software.

Any new version of software for the Hotwire will always work with all Tekin products new or old. The hotwire unit itself will also always work with all software versions and products. Everything will always be backward compatible until we offer something that is not PC based

Hello

I know I am late to the Tekin party but I have recently got myself an RS speedo.

My problem is with the software.
I download the software via the link but when I try to install it tells me I need a version 2.0.50727 Net.framework software.

I have downloaded and installed various (early and later) versions of this but the Tekin SW still refuses to install.

Can anyone advise what is going on or give me a direct link for this Net.framework software that I need?

Thanks.

I managed to install NET. v3.5 , having previously tried both v4 and v2 to no avail, and it worked.
Cool beans!

Hi guys, looking forward to trying your new esc soon.
I've got a Gen2 17.5 which I am using in blinky. What would be the best gearing on a T4 for a track that is 22mx12 and what motor timing is best to use?

Thanks
