Default v223 problems

I updated both of my Tekins to v223 and they no longer act like they've got timing advance. Acceleration is very mild. RPMs eventually increase, almost as if the Turbo function is working, but boost isn't. I even tried loading v212 back in one of them (from a different computer), but it didn't help. I switched my gearing back to a "blinky" range and set the ESC to timing profile 1 and it accelerates faster than with boost. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is it even possible that downloading v223 could screw something up that reloading v212 wouldn't fix?

Make sure that you recalibrate your radio to the speedo. I believe that they fixed the issue, but I still dial my throttle EPA back to 90 when calibrating and then bump it back to 100% when complete.

I did the re-cal. The ESC is definitely seeing full throttle. The problem only appears to effect the C1 & C2 profiles. The factory preset ones seem to accelerate quickly (testing on the bench, not the track). On the RS, C2 seems OK but C1 revs up to maybe 1/2 of the final speed (faster than blinky, but not close to the 40 of timing it's set for), then after the turbo delay elapses, it accelerates up to a very high speed, waaay more than the 10 of turbo I've got it set for. On the RS Pro, both C1 & C2 seem to do the same 1/2 speed - hold - then ramp up slowly deal.

It sounds like you may have a setup issue still. You may want to use a known set up from one of the team drivers and be sure to save the settings to the speedo. As a start I would run no additional timing in the motor to at least rule out over timing. Make sure you don't have any negative exponential set in the radio.if the boost doesn't seem to kick in, you may have the rpm range set too high for your motor. What wind are you running? If you post your settings , we can at least determine if it's just a problem with your settings. Do you hit ok during or after the timer counts down when saving?

17.5T motor on 2s (touring car)
motor timing set at zero
Timing boost = 40 (C1) or 50 (C2)
Start RPM = 5443
End RPM = 20016
Turbo = 10
Turbo delay = 0.5 sec
Turbo ramp = 1
Current limit = off
Sensored only

All these settings worked fine until I updated the firmware.

Is there a chance that the speedo is switching into dual mode? ( bad sensor or cable)
Your end rpm seems a bit high for 17.5 and the turbo delay could be shorter.

Just double check your setting again I know that at one point I had the same issue due to the fwd setting. Make sure its towards the bottom on the 2s setting with BL-FW. Mine was set at a brushed motor for some reason and it started blinking 1,2,6,7. Otherwise download a known good setup and give it a whirl.
