18 awg or so. The caps own lead is going to limit the current.

You must click on the link to download the new software. Hitting the "check for update" will not query it.

When I was setting up my RS with the 222, there was an "active braking" section. I was moving the bar up and down and it disappeared from the dashboard. What happened?

Bravo Team Tekin. No problem installing on my laptop and car.

Was interesting that a couple messages flashed briefly on the screen and quickly disappeared. Cannot say that I fully understood them before having them go bye-bye...but my motor sounds plenty quick...LOL

I have run the 212 and it is a marked improvement. the car feels alot more settled now and the boost is far more controlled rather than feeling a bit full on/off, it now comes in like the tubo on my Ford Focus ST

Not entirely sure about the curve setting in the last tab, Could you explain a bit more about this Randy giving a couple of examples of how the curve would change the feel of the car ? I tried to move it, but it would have none of it to

I am though pleased, I know alot of drivers said the Tekin was to punchy without the control of other speedo's, but right now I can imagine they are kicking themself for seeling the Tekin on (Still possibly the smallest speedo, best features, ease of use out of all on the market)

Hey Jo90uk,

Im not sure if this is the best answer. i've been playing around with the curve's it pretty much how you want the throttle feel to be. more responsive less responsive.

I hope this helps Lol...

maybe a team driver or two that has had the new software for testing could come on this thread and give us some pointers on what they have found, since they have been running it for a bit, I presume.

Would be appreciated,
Thanks.

+1 and could someone post some pics of the new interface. I am really hoping they got rid of the "winamp" skinned look.

Sorry, same interface, but the 'hover over to get a description of what this button does' has been updated.

Hey Guy's

Though Im not a Team Driver.Got to try out Tekin's new Version 222 downloaded it from there site Yesterday.

One of the things I Immediately noticed was how smooth the throttle response was. With out changing any of my Boost settings Etc,etc, My car was faster and more consistent over the whole course of the run. Because of the new improved throttle response.

The Throttle response the best I can describe is very LRP like which is very good in my book.

Overall all classes will benefit with this new version and props to the whole tekin crew.

All this testing was done in 1/12th 1c 13.5 boosted Windows 7 64 bit and 32 bit.

Hope this helps

Is the download process still the same? i.e. delete the old software, restart your computer, and then download the new software?

I just downloaded the .exe and ran it from there. It did everything it needed to do on it's own.
