[QUOTE=HarryLeach;9615382]

When I've run a boosted 10.5 TC, the hard part for me wasn't finding speed, it was smoothing the power band enough that I wouldn't spin tires on corner exit every time I accidentally fat-fingered the throttle.

ok this is a huge thread and I have searched but even that was a huge result.

What capacitor is a good upgrade to the original?
I had a sanyo 680uF 16V and that blew the connecting wire

I have a RS pro unsure about the timing boost etc as I do not have a hotwire at the mo

Car is a 4wd TC running on 2 cell lipo 4.5T

please link to a replacement

Can I use the 24V ones? I can't find a 16V one

Thanks

Any plans to make a "dumb" non adjustable speedo for Roar next year? Just heard the "Excons" voted to only allow a non adjustable blinky only speedo in all classes except mod for all of ROAR.

YA New speedos for everyone!

Hopefully the large race and series promoters will use some common sense and allow current approved blinky mode ESCs. Gotta love backroom deals by vendors with their own interests in mind, customers be damned!

Then my local track will no longer follow anything ROAR other than safety standards about lipo batteries.

BUT......WHEN Tekin brings out their 'dumb' esc, and I have no doubt that they wll and that it'll be as dominant as ever, I'm sure ROAR will find a way to get it banned, too!

Exactly! I think they did me a favor by kicking me out for not being a sheep and voicing my opinion privately and publicly!

Sorry to disappoint everyone but there has been NO VOTE on this subject from the ROAR EXCOM.

As a racer myself I do listen to everyones input regarding rules in general. But IMHO do not expect the current ESC rules to change as being suggested here.

Rumors are only that rumors... now lets go racing

Default Setup help for RS Pro

Hi Guys,

Ive just finished building a TC6 and now I need to setup the electrics. Running a Speed Passion 21.5R with the Tekin RS Pro speedy. Basically I need help to get the speedy settings sorted out. I dont have any previous experience with this so any and all help is welcome, as I want to do it right the first time.

Look forward to your advice.
