just my opinion, but i run tekin rs with a novak ballistic 10.5 with the timing jacked and it has plenty of horespower in mod touring, motor temps were around 120-130 every run

The Tekin motors are excellent. Not only fast but a little smoother than some others.

Duo's are also excellent.

I have recently been playing with LRPs and I like them a lot too, though they do need a bit different set-up.

Question for the guys running in the 17.5T non-boost class, I have this combo on my T3R and was wondering what can I adjust on the RS to still be in the "legal" side of racing in this class.

GThe thing that amazes me with the Redline motors, is they can still foot-it with the others that are now in their 3rd generation of motor. Pretty cool stuff. I have an Epic D3 and Tekin Redline and can't tell the difference (except the colour I guess).

Duo3's are simply awesome with the Tekin RS. the motor was screaming this weekend gone and still had more in it, came off at 55DegC @ 5mins.

Awesome Speedo !

Put it on Setting 1 (Version 2.12 only) and you are legal in 17.5 non-boosted as far as the ESC goes.

Just have to figure out all of the other settings...LOL

Yes sir-eeeee!

But, if Scotty moves the race venue to Hawaii some day, we would both be very happy...

Last year I had the sensor board go out on an RS. It was not the motor or sensor wire. Tekin repaired the speedo for me.

hey guys, I'm using RS Pro and a Muchmore 30x30mm cooling fan.

But I'm not sure whether it's okay to solder the fan directly to the batteries or not, because Muchmore doesn't indicate the working voltage and I don't prefer to connect the fan to receiver. So I'm worrying it's over-voltage and will damage the fan soon.

Any advice?

I use one of them on my motor heatsink and it works fine when connected to battery to be honest i actually think its better.
