Tekin sells them I believe for less than $10, give them a call.

Yes they do and I believe they are about 8 to 10 dollars as Grenade 10 stated.

I tried running Mod 12th for the first time a couple days ago. I was running a 4.5 with an RS pro. I only had one of the std caps installed. I was geared 88/28 with 42 mm rears. After 6 minutes the motor was only about 110, but the esc was 175+. I was running the esc in blinky sensored mode. What can I do to reduce the esc temps? I looked on the Tekin website for settings, but the only Mod 12th set up I found showed a 4.5 with mild boost and turbo, which I would think would drive the esc temps even higher.

Tekin's website states that the lowest wind brushless motor for the RS (non- pro version) is 5.0, Does that also apply to a 1/12 scale pan car running a 1s battery pack? Or can I use a lower wind for this application? If so, how low can I go without problems?

Thank you.

If you need to run modified motors, you will need RS Pro.

Might be overgeared ?
That's about a 42 roll
Hohwarts' setup sheet from iic shows about a 36 roll with 4t

From what i've seen.
Over-Gear = higher temp in esc
Under-Gear = higher temp in motor

Been playing with a 1s 6.5 RS Dual-Mode, with temps around 110 for both speedo and motor, even after 10 mins in an f1 car.

Voltage does matter actually. If you cut voltage in half you increase current in a similar fashion.

For mod 1s 1/12 we recommend the RS Pro. You can try it as some have been successful.

You will not be able to get a post. We do not sell them. Ideally the unit should be sent in for repair. We do not recommend running it without the posts.

Smile RSpro

I picked up an RSpro some time ago and haven't had a chance to use it yet, I plan on using for 1/12 scale CRCXL,10.5 motor, 1Slipo, with a Futaba 2.4 radio sustem. Does it require a booster, if so what is a good dependable choice.
