try this.

fdr:7.8- 8.0
boost:45
turbo:15
start rpm:5300
end rpm:22,500
turbo delay:.1
ramp:3.0

i run 15 clicks of drag brake on a similar sized indoor asphalt track with my 416x and seems to work, the gate being carpet maybe 20 or 25 drag brake.

bit of a weird issue tonight, hooked up a graupner 17.5 motor to my tekin and it wouldn't switch on !

When I pulled the sensor cable to check, it powered up fine. It's a brand new motor and I changed the sensor board on it for one from a 21.5, but the same thing happened. I then put the 21.5 motor in and got the same result.

Changed over to a GM 17.5 instead and it all works fine now...

Anyone had this before ?

Sounds like those sensor boards are shorted out.

Try a known good BL motor. IF it works, you know those are bad.

Graupner motors dont work with Tekins , same as Corally motors , there was something here in Holland with them at the start of the season in 2010 , we all took them out and used other motors

I have a GM speedo but I only run the Tekin RS Pro now.
The speedo is as fast as the GM but it runs better.
I tested some GM motors with the Tekin and they run verry good. The Groupner motor will not run with the current sensor in it. You can change it but you need to now what to do.
A club member changed it and I tried the motor on the Tekin and now it runs fine.
Still I like the Tekin motors more.
The GM runs good with a GM or Graupner motor but I didn like the feel as I like the feel of the Tekin combo.
Before I had a Tekin RS Pro, I burnt up my Graupner motor to get the same lap times.
I drove most of the time with the GM motor. worked better for me.
When I got the Tekin, I sold my GM and Graupner motors and bought some Tekin motors. Tried the 13,5T Tekin motor and I switched to them. They also run great under the GM speedo. great speeds.

The temp part is on a sensor that gives a wrong signal to the Tekin speedo.
this is what a club member told me. He changed it.
Don ask me how.

Randy can Tekin change the software on the speedo so that you can use the Graupner motor and also see the motor temp? Or does it work on an other way?
My club member didn't now if it was possible.
