Not too long till the indoor season starts here in the uk and running 12th this winter indoors.

Can anyone help out with a rough Tekin rs set up. I have my rollout and gearing sorted just wanted a pointer on the 13.5 Tekin rs 1s 208 please as all the ones on Tekins website seem to be 203.

Assuming that you have Timing Boost in the low to mid forties, I see no issues with those settings.

Small addition to what smoke said. If you find you need more timing and are running a Tekin motor, try adding a bit of motor timing first. I find the Tekins like a little bit. If you still find you need more speed and temps aren't bad, go up a tooth or two on the pinion before dumping tons of timing on it.

ok guys, I'm having a strange problem with my RS. It will periodically completely shut down. Receiver and servo are down as well and it will just roll then power back up. I'm running a 17.5 in spec mode (this also happened in 203). A friend of mine suggested that I try a different sensor wire, but I can't see how that would completely power down my electronics. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks--Al

make sure all solder connections are good and check the switch and leeds in the rs are connected to the board

Also try a receiver cap or a different servo, sometimes the servo will have a high rate of amperage drop the voltage and the receiver will have to reboot.

What's especially strange about the whole thing is that I can't replicate it. I'll take it to the next level and check all connections with an ohmmeter. Maybe I've got a broken wire somewhere. One thing that I did notice is that the problem becomes more frequent as the day gets warmer. All my connections seem sound and the switch seems to be doing it's job. Internal issue?
