how about a baseline for a SpeedPassion 17.5v3/ RS Pro, 80' straight, outdoor asphalt, technical parking lot track? lots of traction!

TC5R/5000mah-35c

new to sp motors, have heard to turn motor timing to max...have used Orion V2.

thanks for the help...

The Duo2 likes to be ran with negative 5 on the timing with agressive setups. Also for 13.5 you've got a bit more room to play ONCE you've found your gearing. The turbo time delay should be higher than .1 . Try .3

It was just a guess at how long the straight is. Sorry math was never my strong subject.

I'm using a tenergy 5000mah 40c battery. I also set the motor back to 0 as far as the timing.

I have the high rpm set at 15,000 and the start point at 3,149 rpm

I'm running the Tekin RS Pro with a 13.5 duo 2 motor at nor-cal hobbies and my car doesn't seem to work well down the backend. My final drive ratio is at 6.49.

Throttle Profile is at 5
Timing is at 40
Turbo Boost 10
Turbo Delay 0.1
Turbo Ramp 2.0

I've geared that car all the way down to 5.10 final drive ratio but I was told that the car was overgear'd

Infield the car is perfect! but going down the 60ft straight-a-way my car is performing like a 17.5. Please help me people.
Either my gearing is way off or yours is. Because that is what I run in my 17.5 at norcal. I think I'm actually around 6.3ish. My car is not the fastest down the strait, but it seems ok.

I recon not enough turbo delay, and the car is bogging down with a truck load of timing before the speed is up.
I have a similar length straight, with a long sweeper into it. I run 0.7 turbo delay, and a bit less overall timing. We have a large flowing track.

randy hasn't said but on feature is for the stock class to go to a setting using the mode button and checking it by a flashing led
