if you're willing to waste a lot of time, money, and frustration, you could use a servo to somehow connect another pack to the esc while driving. you would have to have an esc that goes up to 14 cells though. don't have any clue how this would be accompished, and your car would be incredibly heavy and have aweful handling, but it would be awesome if you could pull it off. just a thought

The N2O that a dentist uses and commercial N2O are pretty different. To sum it up you don't want to try to get high off of N2O that you are getting put in a bottle for a car. You won't get high, and you may even get sick from the added sulfur. I bet you could get the commercial grade pretty easily in Singapore, but I could be wrong

To get that extra burst of power, buy a 6 turn motor, and only run it at 1/2 throttle, then when you want the burst, go full throttle.
Frank and Cool reply dude!!

Surprisingly, its not essential to have 2X *same* motors; the weaker one will just do less work. (There are 1:1 racecars that actually run 2 engines in the same fashion.)

Two motors does NOT mean double top speed. Top speed stays the same.

However the torque is the sum of the 2 motors'.

But so is the current consumption!

Great explanation and conclusion you got there bro!!!
