Odd that you mention the Waffle House... There are two of them less than one mile of the track. One is all of about 1000ft away.

The tire, insert, and wheel have been chosen. I am waiting for the final confirmation that all terms will be met. This should be finalized some time tomorrow. This will be the first time that this combination of tire, insert, and wheel has been available. Keeping tire costs down was a big factor in the selection. I expect to be able to sell them for at least $6 per set less than they will be found any where post nationals.

Also how many are planning to run superstock 10.5 and mod this weekend?
With track temps not yet at there best, laps times are still a bit off from last season. I believe Garrett Winingham and Jason Wilkey both turned 16.64 with 13.5s. The best I've seen with a 17.5BL is 16.81. I feel like with a bit more work (to get my 008 turning better) a 16.5 is likely with a 17.5BL.
