The sweep tire is definately not the fastest tire in production. However, they are consistant from set to set, they last several runs, the wheel is good, and they are very economical. I feel that the fact the they dont get as fast lap times as a Sorex, is completely a non isue for a spec tire race. So far I am happy with the choice.

There no longer is handout anything. It's all stated (spec) products or open to ROAR approved products. For motors it's bring your own ROAR approved stock (17.5bl or 27t brushed) or super stock (13.5bl, 10.5bl or 19t brushed) motor. Your allowed to tech 3 motors in any combination for each class prior to the start of the race. For tires your allowed to bring tires from your own source (if you can get them) and they must be presented new, in original unoped package for pre race tech. You're limited to 3 sets per vehicle/class and you have the option to purchase a 4th set if you make the AAA mains. Because the tire chosen is most likely not going to be available thru anyone other than the host you'll end up buying them from the host.
