Looks like record was broken in stock by 1 full second+ 15 second laps now....

Great to see a Brushed TQ and a Brushless win.. make's them think....

Where on the track did the 17.5 and 27T seem to differ the most?

Were most using NIMH?

Man what a day of racing! I have to say that was by far the funnest time i have had at the track in a long time. Thanks to all of the out-of-towners that made the long trip to hang out with us. I was really impressed with the stock class. I have not ran stock in a long time, and dont remember them being that dang fast, of course the smooth driving helps a bit to. For those of you that missed this race and need setup tips, almost all major brands of car were there, and represented well. I won the super stock class with my SCHUMACHER, John Tag won stock with a LOSI, Chris TQ'D stock with his XRAY, and CORALLI, ASSOCIATED, TAMIYA 416 were also in the hunt, so feel free to ask these guys for some tips. Thanks to Q for putting on a good race as always, even though the track could have been preped a little better. So to everyone planning to race the warm-up race in the stock class it looks to be that brushed with batteries is the way to go fast. So bring some horspower and lets shred some tire.

Home at last!! What a long drive! Thanks Tag for the ride. Talk about road trip!

Good job Q on running the race. Had fun running out there. Looking forward to the Nats.

Well I ran 27t and lipo. I would have to say it felt maybe... soft. Speed down the back straight I don't think was a problem. I think mostly it was soft coming off the corners. So I will be running nihm at the Nats for sure. I made 1 change during practice. And the car felt great all day long since.

Only things I would suggest you try to do would be maybe trying to round off the corners. A propane torch would easily heat up the PVC pipe to bend them. Or just hire Tag. I hear he's a flamer! Got pics to prove it! I also heard suggestions of sugar water/soda instead of VHT. Make sure you spray the whole track and not just the groove if you do. Other than that, everything else was great.

I would also like to thank the track helpers too for track prep and everything else. Great job guys!

Catch yall in June!

Thanks
