Double pink front and rear works great.

Last year's ROAR nats were held on an indoor track with extremely high bite. We were basically running carpet tires (44/42mm magenta Pro 38's). For the typical (lower bite) asphalt track i'd start out with bigger tires and a bit softer tire in the rear, so i'd start with purple front and pink rears and go from there.

The standard asphalt compound front and rear is double pink. That works everywhere.
