Default Found a neat way to make custom stickers . . .

Found a neat way to make custom stickers . . .

So I got a new printer a few months ago, a color laser. I found these Avery 5664 Clear Mailing Labels at the local Staples . . . They're kindof expensive at $40 for 50 sheets but I thought it will take me a long time to go through these.

Anyway spent a good bit of time collecting the signage I identify with, IMSA, ALMS, SCCA, F1, Vintage etc so here's what I got so far.

Let me know if you want the 4 meg word doc. They seem to work pretty well, they are satin finish but still looks pretty good.

Do they come with a clear background, or white?

It's a clear label but they have white labels as well but I imagine they're not plastic . . .

I have used the same stuff on rc's, dirt bikes, and real cars. It holds up well. It has the "laminate" cover that you stick on right?

Here's a few shots of my Marlboro/Audi R8/R10 inspired learning curve . . .

Fun to put your LHS signage on the car . . .

Just missing Audi rings and an Audi body . . . tough getting little stickers aligned properly . . .

Yes there are. I imagine motor spray would probably destroy them . . .

But I think...it cannot print the color "WHITE" on those clear label right..? You can only place those decal (like the BBS logo) on a white background or it show the color underneath, right..? And if I use the white sheets...then I have to trim the edge "right on" or it will have the white edge around the decal.

Anyway...thanks for sharing, good idea...

Check out this site for Decal Paper

http://www.papilio.com/

They have paper for Laser, Inkjet, plus the clear coat to protect the art, along with some spray protector...and lots of other good stuff.

Things are headed towards a return of the SWT Series, but for
