lexan body help help
 

Im painting my first lexn body and I want to know can I paint the body fron inside and outside or only inside because im using 5 different colors thanks.

do it all from the inside, start with the darkest colour

yup, all inside or it will look aweful regardless of your quality. five colors on a first paint job is daring. just go slow and think of the best order of operations.

Make sure you back the whole thing with white or silver!!

Some tips to help you out, mask off the windows, then scuff the inside of the lexan with Scotch Brite pads. When you get all of the inside scuffed, wash it out with some Dawn soap and water. This will help the paint adhere best to the lexan, and although it looks like it will come out with scratches, you'll never be able to tell you scuffed it up.

If "Chrome paint" by (I can't remember the company's name) is one of your "colors", don't scuff the inside of the body before you paint. The scuff marks will show.

If this is your first body I would highly reccomend you stick to a 1 maybe 2 color paint job. Also, cut your body before you paint it, other wise you risk scratching you new paint, which isn't fun.

Almost forgot, before you sticker it up, pull the over spray film off! Some bodies don't come with this, the 2 I know that does use it is protoform and HPI but I think there is more.

doesn't look like he's coming back, it been awhile now he's probibly painted it already.

i just do one colour , one can now. with all the hacking that goes on at our club the bodies just get wrecked to quick.
