Nice one but I didn't fall for it.

you can't kid a kidder! besides.. I was born on that date so I'm always a little more cautious because of it.

In the scheme of making things up, or exaggerating, hoping folks will buy into it there are three basic rules of story-telling you have to follow: don't have people ask "what the funk?" during the opening paragraph (or sentence!), use the first half of the story/tale the suck people in and get 'em hooked, and have some expectation of it actually being the truth. And if you don't they'll never buy it.

I new it was a joke from the start but then the realism at the end through me.
