No hijacking our thread..we were discussing LiPo battery heating not chassis.

PS--Whats the daytime temperature on the pool deck at the hotel in August? Does a black LiPo sack count as a heating device?

You guys need to chill on the lipo stuff. Scotty is working on trying to make it fair and safe. The rule was made due to safety. He was told of some incidents and that is how this came about. He is working with some people to get it figured out and should have something posted by the end of the week. He does not get to sit on the internet and read up on all this stuff. Some people will not be happy no matter what happens. I am sure a lot more people would be unhappy if someone starts one on fire in the 1st hour of practice and the race gets shut down. He will post something as soon as he can.

+1

Rome was not built in a day...... but if it had been a S.E. Production it would have been run a lot smoother.

Hey, question for everybody: in years past we have worked with the race sponsors to provide the latest and greatest stuff in the hobby shop for everybody, and although we are usually pretty good, there is usually something we end up missing.

Is there anything in particular that you guys would like us to bring this year that we haven't in past years?

We always bring a lot of the stuff that seems to run out no matter what: motor spray, strapping tape, tire glue, popular pinion and spur sizes, etc. But no matter how hard I try I always miss something.

I'm putting in the final orders right now so if there are any requests, now is the time. Thanks!

Shane,

Getting some of the new SMC 5000 lipos (wires on top) from Danny would be excellent.

And with the way I drive, I have always been one of your best customers for Corally parts at the IIC...

How is your supply of PRS or Xray spur gears going to be? I know I need to purchase one or two when I get there.

Do the new lipos have to go thru R.O.A.R. for approval first?

I'd be sure they are legal first.
