Just get the real thing. She works for peanuts or even peanut butter...

Arluck won't be attending this years iic due to a 'prolonged visit' to guantanamo bay.

By the time timmah and I get off the plane he's going to be sucking his thumb, crying and sporadically clicking his heals together mumbling, 'there's no place like home, there's no place like home'

Joel, I broke you once at the Novak race, looks like its time to break you again and 'bring out the cub'

I'm still working on the fate of Boice, Boomer and Kenny, but exploding boxes of ca glue might be envolved.

Mums booked all the way out to the end of Sept. anyways.

The fact that Kenny has been avidly searching for and saving eskimo pictures places me against a foe with unlimited ammo. Waiving a white flag at this point won't do any good, and anything I can think of as a come back is going to sound weak at best. yes, I'm Alaska raised, no my mom is not 'hot' nor is she really a traveling eskimo hooker. Just in case people were starting to get the wrong idea.

Mostly, with only 78 days left before 2008 IIC, I'm just bumping the heck out of this thread with what I hope is entertaining banter. So to the 14 people who have pm'd me (no joke!) with concerns about how people are posting about my dear old mum, thank you for your concern but these are all good friends of mine and this is a common game for us. So I hope you don't get the wrong idea and are entertained as we all hang on this thread for more Vegas info!

Cool Info in Vegas race!

Any word on legal bodies for sedan and 1/12 scale? How about what MFG. for brushless handout? I've got no e-mails on confirmations either!
Just wondering!

i understand that scotty and boomer are very busy. coming from a first timer, would it not have made more sence to open registration after the reedy so there would not be an overlap?

i don't know, i guess i am just venting frustration in the fact that we have not seen an entry list or anything yet.

Registration for this event has more or less been the sametime every year. You also have to remember Boomer and Scotty have other jobs just like us. So they are doing this in their spare time which also cuts into family time. Give them some slack. When you get to IIC you will not be disappointed once you see what all is involved. It is quite the undertaking and these guys work every little detail.

yeti - as a race orginizer myself, obviously not on this level....but with my local club, i understand and know how much work it is. that is not my point. i just think that most of us would like to see a list to make sure everything went through properly. thats all, not sorted, not confirmed......just a list. that says "here are the guys that have made contact with us". thats all.

sorry for being such a bitch.

It is all good. I just got to know these guys pretty well and have some contact with them on some things. I know Boomer was swamped at work and had to play catch up there when he got back from Reedy. But as I said above you should see an email with in the next few days if not tonight.

maybe if we get everyone to donate $1, then we can have Scotty and Boomer to beat on the whole year round. surely that would be enough to cover all their expenses
