Good morning everyone,

Just a couple of days until we hit the Strip!

Just so you guys understand how the hotel shipping works in Vegas.

Each hotel sub leases space to somebody to operate a business center. This center receives and ships boxes for the conventions and guests at the hotel. Unfortunately this is a separate business from the hotel. In fact, if I go over a certain amount of boxes that I get as an organizer, I have to pay. but that is how things work in Vegas.

ANNOUNCEMENT:::::

On Wednesday night after practice from 7pm-9pm right across from the race track ballroom. All racers are invited to a Meet and Greet session with some of our sponsors. This will be an opportunity for you to see what some of our sponsors have new for this race as many are deputing new cars in the World GT Class plus other things. They will have a table set up with displays of their new products so this is your chance to ask questions or get advice with out the pressure of asking guy at the track while they are thrashing on their own car.
Many of the pro drivers from the teams will be there for you to ask questions,if you always wanted to meet Andy Moore or ask him something about how he builds his shocks something like that or get autographs or pictures, this is your chance. But that is not all.

There will also be free food and yes. Free BEER. There will be a Taco Bar set up for everyone to enjoy and beer will pour until the keg runs out. ID Required. sorry guys.

This is a great opportunity to mingle with the pros and sponsors in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Again this will be Wednesday night after practice from 7pm -9pm. this is something I feel is really needed and this is the first year we have been able to make it happen. So I hope everyone takes advantage of this and enjoys the socializing time.

Dont worry this does not replace the Buffet meal we will have during our drivers meetting on Tuesday, this will still happen from 8-10pm on Tuesday.
The menu for the Buffet is posted on the front page of the iic website www.intchamps.com

As we have done since the beginning, we have tried to make the IIC the best event in the world. Giving you racers the best value for any world caliber race. When you look at all the things you get included with your entry fee. Goodie bag with a ton of stuff. Event T shirt, Buffet meal, now the meet and greet function and what I hope you will feel is the best run event in the world. All this adds up to a great racing experience no matter what place you finish. Plus. We are in Vegas Baby!

We look forward to seeing everyone next week and make sure you tell all your family and friends that we will be broadcasting live Starting on Wednesday morning on www.liverc.com so everyone can follow along if you cannot join us.

See you guys soon.
Scotty

racing, food, drink, adult wonderland, and a gift bag......

You should let me prepare the gift bag next year...... There wouldn't be any r/c related items, but you'd probably pick up a sponsor from 'Fuzzy Cats Strip Club'.

eh.... I had this whole write up on how JoelV had hidden the fact that he turned 21, and how everyone should try to corrupt him as much as possible.

While I was writting it, Scotty posted, and it just looked kind of crass to have that after an announcement.... ok, it was way over the top. But, I figured I'd pull it down and put something else up.

It probably depends on what class you enter. I know that I could never be considered a "sportsman" drinker, so I assume I'd be okay in my Jagermeister attire.

That was a theoretical. I am unfortunately unable to make the IIC.
