I received a email today from a racer asking how the complete tech is going to run, so I thought I would break it down for everyone.

When you enter Tech, if you are running Nimh batteries your first step will be the tech stone to check ride heights, wing height that can be no taller than the roof, then to weight, motor check, then for rubber tires drivers tires will be checked then out to the track.

For Lipo racers. You will come to tech with the body off. We will check Temp and Voltage. if you pass then you will proceed to the rest of tech.

If you fail Temp or Voltage, you will step out of line correct your problem then fall in line again.

That is about it, it is a very simple process only thing that will make it complicated is the racer trying to push the rules and not being prepared.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks
Scotty

You would send it to the hotel with your name attention to before the Hotel address. Beyond that I don't think you need much else.

Typical thing would be to ship it to yourself at the hotel and indicate your arrival date.

Also, read the previous posts of others about the service fees charged by the hotel for handling your packages.

So there will be two lines? one for lipo then the one for Ride hight and weight right?

So if you are running Nimh you go stright to table two, is this right?

Scotty can you Post the order that the Classes will run. (not looking for a heat listing just the Order of classes please.)

I see UPS got my stuff to Vegas on time this morning. Now I'll have to hit the blackjack tables so I can afford to get it out of the business center.
Want be long now.

Hey Steve.....stay away from the blackjack and go for a real mans game, like Keno! Better cut up those credit cards before you hit the casino!

Have fun and bring back a trophy!

I doubt seriously there will be two tech lines since that would be a pain. Just make sure your car is ready before you get to tech so you can just zip right through.

hey yeti35: Thanks for the comments and yes the economy plays a big part. As far as the paved nats entries being down i'd say that carpet racing being alot more popular in usa than paved would have something to do with it as well. Add to that if a racer has to cut back on the number of events he/she attends they'll likely pick the reedy race as the paved event to attend. Just my thoughts thanks
