No manufacture's stickers or T-shirts for amateur? Ok, but then I have to rethink my wardrobe. Are home track and old event t-shirts OK?

Drifter.... my mom cancled your sponsorship due to lack of performance. She said you couldn't make the full 'run time', and suffered from premature saucing. sorry, better luck next year.[/QUOTE]

Uhh, yeah, but it happens to a lot of guys.

2008 INTERNATIONAL INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS "IIC" LAS VEGAS-abc.sized.jpg

Hey Mario, Like Boomer said, If people like your paint jobs, they will talk to you after the race. I really like this one. Can I get it in another color?

Amateur division: Yes the rule is no stickers from any RC manufacture. this class is about the racer, not the sponsors or chassis companies, just the racer. So no AE shirts or X Ray hats, this is the amateur class and I feel this is the way it should be. I hope everyone understands what I am trying to accomplish with this class to get the independent driver a class to be competitive in and showcase their skills where you are not driving against the fully sponsored and fully supported team driver.

ALDENTE: unfortunately I don't want any promotion at all. if somebody see's yoru car and loves the paint job, then I am sure he will talk to you after your race.

James: Not planning on any, but it will depend on the time table and how many heats we have total. We will have 1 hour of open practice in the morning.

Thanks guys let me know if you have any other questions or concerns,

Thanks
Scotty
as usual... you're proving to be a pivotal part of the US rc racing scene scotty. I just recently got back into the sport after quite the hiatus... if I had gotten back in it sooner I would be out there hanging out racing in amateur for old times sakes and causing trouble with paul like the good ole days... keep doing what you are doing scotty... you're right on track so to speak.

Erik Bruner (yeah... those bruners from GB )

p.s. I'll see you in vegas next year. :P

I might have missed this, so I'll ask now... Is there a limit to the number of sets of rubber tires these classes can race with?

Scotty-

Is this rule only for the mains or all week?

Hard for most of us to go to a race and not wear a racing shirt that does not have some type of promotion on it.
