So I can't wear my lucky Schumacher shirt and drive my corally?

And the stickers are the only thing that makes my car not all white.

Guess I'll just go topless all week with my bleached car.

Is "CASEY'S MOM" considered a sponsor?

I'll be proudly running and wearing my Radio Shack and Toyz R US stickers. With my BabyGap outfit and OshGosh appearal, it should look pretty tight.

oh, Arluck. Failure does not need practice......

It was never that way before. Controlled practice was over we left the track. There was some open practice the beginning of each day, but only for an hour.

It would be horrible if all of us non sponsored guys had stickers on our cars and t shirts, might make some of the sponsored guys want to run something else??

Something doesn't make sense here?

How does that not make sense? Unsponsored means just that - no sponsors, no promotion of any products within that division. For years people have been pushing products in divisions that many consider to be the 'amateur' ranks. It turned 'stock' racing into the division that it is today...

Scotty decided to change that and make it a truly amateur division. I think that this brings it to the base level that a division like this demands. Bravo!

oh,, oh ho! Oh, you two are a riot. . . . .

Joel, if we can't trust you to solder a speedo without destroying it or paint a body on time, how can we trust you with my moms sponsorship contract?

Drifter.... my mom cancled your sponsorship due to lack of performance. She said you couldn't make the full 'run time', and suffered from premature saucing. sorry, better luck next year.

hi guys,

I have been traveling a lot over the past month, but I am back now and will be able to answer all your questions.

Amateur division: Yes the rule is no stickers from any RC manufacture. this class is about the racer, not the sponsors or chassis companies, just the racer. So no AE shirts or X Ray hats, this is the amateur class and I feel this is the way it should be. I hope everyone understands what I am trying to accomplish with this class to get the independent driver a class to be competitive in and showcase their skills where you are not driving against the fully sponsored and fully supported team driver.

ALDENTE: unfortunately I don't want any promotion at all. if somebody see's yoru car and loves the paint job, then I am sure he will talk to you after your race.

James: Not planning on any, but it will depend on the time table and how many heats we have total. We will have 1 hour of open practice in the morning.

Thanks guys let me know if you have any other questions or concerns,

Thanks
Scotty

note......... read carefully: "how big of an ass".......not....."how big my ass is"

don't get me wrong, i do not care if people know who i am....... i just do not have any other t shirts.:eek :
