It is not nearly as fast on the roof as on it's wheels.

I'm new to the whole rug thing since we only do asphalt in AZ, what is the standard as far as front diff, spool or 1-way for rubber tire carpet. I have setups for all but would like to practice and focus on the most common, its for a Hoooooot Boooooddddeeeezzzz!

On sedan Foam, what size tires do you run?
width and dia.!

Do you run the same from front to rear or do you run 2mm smaller like 1/12 scale?
Inquiring minds want to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

dizzy - setups are like assholes. every one has one and they think it don't stink. try all three and stick whith what you are fastest with.

everyone swears by a oneway in rubber tire, but i hve never been able to be fast with one. then again i have never been able to be fast period. it all depends on your driving style.

good luck.

Oneway for rubber on carpet generally for it allows the car to be more consistant. I tried a spool before but it does not have the consistancy of a oneway. That being said, you have to get used to a oneway also since there is no braking with the front of the car and you have to get slowed down before the turn, no braking into the corner. Try the oneway and see if you can get used to it.

Ohhh Max......... ok. same front to back, trued down to about 57mm to 57.5mm. I personally stick with Jaco tires and have had great runs. Go to the team site of whatever chassis you run and duplicate a setup from there. Washer for washer, shim for shim, make sure its exact. Best advice I can give.
