after all the constant asking about the confirmation list, I'd be more worried he'd ask "Are we there yet?" every 5 minutes.

Post Shipping to Vegas

Im thinking of just shipping my stuff to Vegas rather than dealing with the hassle's at the airport. What's do you guys use to ship your stuff in when flying somewhere to a race? How much in advance do you ship it? What about return shipping?

someone posted in that last few pages that the hotel has a shipping center. you may call and find out what carriers they work with.

I packed my pit bags into a cardboard box. Inside my bag I wrapped my electonics in foam padding to stop them from moving around during shipment. My car and radio I packed in my suitcase and brought them on the plane.

Ok I did speak with the hotel business center. Found out they will take and hold your stuff for you until you arrive. They said ship it to hotel address,in care of the Business Center, and put attention:YOUR NAME. And when you arrive you would have a message at the desk for your package. They are a UPS shipper/receiver, so when your ready to leave they can get your stuff back to you. They do charge for package weight when receiving. He said its like $5.00 for every 22lbs. and also if the package is not picked up within 3 days of its arrival there is a charge of $3.00 per day for holding it. So don't ship to soon unless you don't mind paying. Now I just gotta find something to ship it all in.
