This is a small detail and really does not matter, but what the heck.

The Riviera has renovated rooms and unrenovated. You can't secure a newer room when you book, but when you check in, you can request. Its a small thing, but to anyone who would care, thats the inside scoop.

They also have a fleet of indoor motorized carts for anyone who needs them at about $165 for the week. Oh, and they have an entire room to recieve any shipped gear, and they have a shipping center to ship it back (wicked cheap).

Good luck to everyone as we prepare to run the Mabuchi silver can Vegas Race!

well,,,, thats a good questin with a couple different answers. To my knowledge there is no 'handling fee'....... yet. When I spoke to them they were very easy going and never mentioned anything about handling fee's (although,,,, it is vegas, so get your tip ready), and I asked about the room and maximum package size, security, room delivery, etc. pretty accomodating people. I think the last hotel got a little overwhelmed with people shipping so many packages with multiple calls for check ups and people anxiously concerned with their shipment. I know I didn't pay a handling fee last year, but I know others did..... so maybe if we all play it friendly and cool, we'll all skip on the extra 'pain in the ass' fee.

Well life for me is getting back to normal after this week. I had to put in Massive hours to get caught up at my real job and by weeks end I should be there. Sorry for my absence.

I think you can request a renovated room....at least my wife did for ours and they told her not problem that she had it booked. Maybe she was just telling us what we wanted to hear!!

I'm sure we can get pickles back in the loop if we need help...

Is there a statute of limitations on repayment?

Scotty/Boomer- What compound will the spec foams be for World GT?

Kenny-Do you know anywhere in Vegas where I can hire an eskimo stripper to come to the track as casey's mom? or would it just be cheaper to fly her in from the igloo?
