CLEVELAND US INDOOR CHAMPS 2008

I agree, no handout BL motors. It's just my opinion but all of the "sealing" of BL motors for handouts is crap. The trouble that it takes to seal the motor in a way that it really can't be tampered with isn't worth the hastle.
How are they supposed to tear a motor down in tech if it's "sealed"?
An inductance reading would be affected by the rotor strength so the rotor really needs to be pulled to measure the inductance properly. What are they going to do? tech and "reseal"? Please. Or are they just going to assume that the motor hasn't been opened. That's a nice thing to assume.
Just remember Gilbertson's law:
"Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talanted fool."
I think that there will be more cheating (or at least more rumors of it) with the "sealed" motors.
Just what I want, a big pile of freaking handout BL motors in my box from a bunch of races. For what it's worth, I can drive from mid Michigan to Cleveland (and part way back) for the cost of a BL motor.

Champs Guy,
You are usually too busy to get trashed at the Champs, but this year thanks to brushless I'll have time to hang out downstairs and help keep you 'lubed up'!

Brother Rick (sibbling, not clergy)
I just might take you up on that!
I'll probably be running the new Pro 10 GT class this year so: brand new car + brushless motor + more announcer help = more time for fun at the Champs!!!!!

So with the elimination of Masters 1/10 I expect that Masters 1/12 will gain 20/30 entries.

Brushless motor info and spec tire info to come later.

You have eight approved bodies listed for the pro 10 class, will you be selecting more in the future or is that it?
Thanks,
Fred

If I were a gambling man (which I'm not) I'd bet we'll see something from Parma PSE!
