I couldn't agree more, this SHOULD be fun. It's easy to lose sight of that. Whenever I get mad about a race, I do my best to take a step back and remind myself why I do this.
you know with the line out the door and around the corner at the plasma donation and dan and stormers trek to white castle, the more i think about its a wonder the wheels weren't stolen off my truck. ( really lucky in the middle of the night going to white castle) (btw so i dont look retarded they are 22's that came factory)

but Thanks Bob for the idea of going there Dan brought back my first white castle experience!

and its a sad how bad the economy has hit cleveland, hell i found a closed wall mart and took me 30 mins to find a open for business grocery story!
hopefully people start spending their money and realize not doing so only hurts more

i should get to my computer to edit that video some time this weekend

The closed WalMart has nothing to do with the economy and everything to do with being built on a landfill. There was a buildup of methane gas from the landfill that was posing a hazard, and since the landlord couldn't fix the problem, WalMart (and a few other stores) decided to just close down. That shopping area is only about 2 years old.

erc, make sure someone video tapes it and puts it on vimeo.com . That insanity has to be published.

I remember a guy from a small East Coast state years ago running something illegal in 1/12 Stock and I happened to point him out to John Thawley who was kind of in charge that year. After the guy marshaled the next heat he returned to pick up his car from tech only to see a crowd around it with a soldering iron removing said motor. Needless to say he did not show up for the mains or been back to Clevevland since.
Wow..... Steve Lafara........

I've attended the Champs since 1992..... would never miss it. Not sure what I would do at a regular Thanksgiving family dinner.

I remember your first trip. You had rear tires as big as a tractor Took us a while to convince you and your dad to cut them down

What's up Jeff? Yep, I've missed the past five years but got the old car out yesterday and had a blast. If I play my cards right, I'll be back in Cleveland before you start running Masters! Say hi to your Dad for me.
