Hey all, I'm looking for a little technical advice regarding TC body shell cutting. I'm looking at the rules, and there seem to be these relevant ones:
1. Min height 110mm
2. Stock wing
3. "Bodies may not be cut out more than 35mm from the rear deck."
4. "Wing may not be higher than the roof of the car."
I've got a couple new shells for this race, and it'll be the first race I attend with strict shell rules.
-What does the third rule mean? Is the 35mm a max length between top of trunk deck and cut line at rear bumper? On the R9F, do I measure from the deck wing or imagine where the deck would be?
-Are the cut lines ever important, or can I cut at any height as long as I meet the 110mm height rule?
-Can the wing be positioned anywhere, or does it have to be entirely forward of the rear bumper?
-Adam

cut lines don't really matter as long as it meets the 110 mm hieght
that's from the chassis to the top of the roof.
the wing can be positioned anywhere. but can not be higher the roof line.

Yes from the chassis to the roof line. 110 mm actually the car will be up on a block so ride height doesn't really play any part in it.
