Hi there, I purchased some fans from www.coolcanfan.com, he sells the fans on their own or a really nice carbon fiber mount with 3 fans in it, 2 for the motor and one for the ESC...

There are photos on his website if you need them

As for settings, what motor are you running?? I currently have mine on factory settings and have no problems at all.

Maybe Team Wave will be able to help you out, I know they are busy guys, so give them a little time to reply.

Out of the box this speedy is awesome but... If you are running spec wind the timing up to max and turn on the turbo... Both of these make a noticable difference to speed and power!

Hi mytoda5,

correct me if I am wrong, the internal drive ratio of E4 is 2.059, 98T spur and 42T pinion will results 4.8 final which will definitely burn your ESC if running a 7.5T! The proper gear ratio should be about 6.X-7.X depends on track size. Please start at 98T/29T.

Hi Max,

I'm Azwan from Malaysia.
Will email and currier you on my RB30 issues. Thanks for a few phone-in supports. I agreed the setting was relatively easy. As a user of team wave product i'm fairly satisfied with its features.
It was smooth and definitely cooler than normal brushed motor. The "Time shift" and "turbo" features are really noticeable. Not to forget the braking setup available.
At the moment I need your supports on my shipments to HK and back. Can't wait to test it again.

Still loyal to team wave! Good job!

Cheers!

Ran the RB-30 with 10.5 on a tight twisty track last night.

The car was awsome, I under geared it slightly at a overall of 7.0.... I feel I could have gone up at least 2 pinions and it still safe.

Speedo stayed very cool, motor got warm, but I didnt run a fan on the motor... only the speedo.

If anyone has any troubles or questions, ask away and I will try to help...i did say try!!

Can up load photos of the speedo installed in a Corally RDX Phi if interested?

Hi there decibels,

I had an email from Max saying it could be the "turbo" function that makes it lose its settings but this is only on the prototypes and in hot weather.. turn this off for now and all should be well as far as I am aware.

If any of the above is wrong, I am sure Team Wave will point it out

Give it a go anyhow chap

Adam
