Default Quiet

Seems to have gone a bit quiet here recently.

Any news of an update from team wave? The summer season is just about to start and we are starting to get out run by the Hobbywing runners. A few more adjustments and a bit more flexibility would be very welcome.

Also any update on the rumoured 12th scale speedo or has that fallen by the wayside?

RBS Version 2.2 is coming soon with lots of updates. We are fine tuning some parameters and are also tuning the software for RB50 to enable more timing/turbo setting for modify class.

For RB-12, since we are importing chips from Japan thus it has some delay in the schedule. Adam in UK is now testing with the prototype and everything was up and running, he will give reports here soon.

Hi Max, thank you for replying så quickly.

I sendt you my esc for about 5 weeks ago. did not send you an email, but did send a letter with the esc with a dvd disk that show you my 3 min run that day.
I currently have no esc left and i am racing in the EFRA Grand prix 24 of June.
Was expecting the esc to be returned by then or i would get a new one from you guys.....

Had really great expectations from this esc as 4 people are running them on my team, with good results.
That's why I'm so dissapointed a the moment
I still have the video of it when it puffed smoke if you would like to have it.

Really hope we can sort this before my EFRA Grand prix race.

Thank you.
With regards Fredrick G

I had an RB-30 at one stage that is now a melted pile of plastic and circuit board.

This was caused by leaving the battery connect for about 30 mins with the switch turned OFF.

I would like to know why it did this and what if anything can team wave do about it.

Will the new s/w allow the rpm timing to "kick-in" at a lower rpm? Only I run 21.5T motor (tried several) and can't get any rpm based timing change.

Or, will the new s/w allow for more turbo timing? At the moment the limit is (I believe) ~17degs of active timing.

Thanks.

Hi all.... not forgotten you all...

Firstly the NEW firmware is really great, improving speed and rip out of the corner, also the brakes seem a little more progressive (to my feel)... I went down a couple of pinions to try it, and found a slight improvment at my local track, although I will do a back to back next week.

The RB12 is stonking... I have been testing it with a 10.5, which is the most popular class of racing in the UK along side Mod of course. I will be sorting out some gearings for mod at some point, but I want to sort out the sweet spot for 10.5 first.

Will answer any questions I can

Adam
